About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Cyber Instructor to provide direct on-site support for cyber courses in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves supporting cyber defense instruction and working with various technologies such as Linux, PowerShell, SIEM, IDS tools, hardware, and cloud. The instructor will join a team dedicated to teaching and enabling personnel defending critical national systems at Little Rock Air Force Base. Requirements

• Interest in supporting cyber defense instruction
• Experience working with Linux, PowerShell, SIEM, and IDS tools
• Experience with various technologies such as hardware and cloud

Responsibilities

• Provide direct on-site instructor support to develop and teach cyber operations courses throughout the year.
• Coach, teach, and assess students in compliance with Air Force curriculum while providing feedback and progress reports.
• Make recommendations for updates and corrections to course material, software, and tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new course material to include technical writing and virtual lab design.
• Utilize a virtual cyber range during class instruction and communicate with range engineers as needed.
