The Cybersecurity IAM Architect - Staff Engineer will be responsible for developing enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) and identity security architectures aligned with NIST standards. This role involves designing scalable identity solutions for various environments (cloud, on-premises, SaaS, hybrid) and defining secure patterns for AI agent identities, non-human identities, workload identities, service accounts, API access, secrets, and delegated authority. The architect will translate business and technical requirements into secure IAM solution blueprints and establish least-privilege access models. Additionally, the role includes leading architecture and security reviews, identifying identity-related gaps, advising on risk mitigation, and providing technical guidance throughout the system development lifecycle. The position also involves developing and maintaining IAM architecture standards, participating in governance boards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and defining governance expectations for various identity processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentorship of junior architects are key aspects of this role.
