About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity / Enterprise Security Specialist with a strong focus on firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of implementing and managing firewall solutions to protect enterprise networks. This role requires a deep understanding of security protocols, risk management, and compliance standards to safeguard our organization’s information assets.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and hands on experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
  • Strong understanding of network security protocols and architectures.
  • Proficiency in security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Ability to analyze and respond to security incidents effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on firewall management.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud security and securing cloud based applications.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience in scripting or automation for security tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions to ensure the security of the organization’s network.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Monitor network traffic and analyze security incidents to respond effectively to threats.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into existing systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity best practices and firewall management.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Participate in incident response planning and execution.
