About The Position

Cybersecurity Engineering Lead The Opportunity: To achieve an organization’s mission, leaders need strong team members who can lead activities to maintain and improve cybersecurity products, provide expert guidance, and implement cybersecurity solutions. That is why we need an experienced Cybersecurity Engineering Lead like you who can integrate applicable cybersecurity requirements into ARPA-H programs and evaluate performer implementation of those requirements. As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You’ll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems, and leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. You’ll also maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies. You'll serve as a Cybersecurity Engineering Lead helping clients to maintain and improve our client’s cybersecurity product stack and new business processes, and provide guidance and recommendations on best practices. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success. What You’ll Work On: Lead hands-on activities to maintain and improve the ARPA-H cybersecurity product stack, including SIEM, XDR, DLP, and GRC. Implement agentic solutions to improve automation of cybersecurity operations and governance activities. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity
  • Experience with the implementation of agentic AI solutions
  • Experience with cybersecurity engineering
  • Experience with NIST cybersecurity requirements
  • Experience interacting and communicating with senior-level executives, including SES or GS-15
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • CISSP or CISM Certification
