About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer in Panama City, FL. This role is on site and not eligible for remote support. The qualified candidate will support Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division C5ISRT projects. As the Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing the cybersecurity protocol and obtaining ATO for physical centers.

  • Research, analyze and execute solution strategies to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with SSO and Project Manager to maintain on time and in scope of the project plan.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with the latest cyber security threats and trends.
  • Responsible for development and conduct of vulnerability assessments.
  • Collaborate with technical team members, developers and customer leadership to ensure the overall security of the organization.
  • Provide risk recommendations to the customer after reviewing sponsored asset overall risk posture as part of Authority to Operate (ATO) RMF process.
  • Manage/track customer sponsored assets' plan of action and milestones (POAMs) by working with various security stakeholders (ISSO/ISSE/ISSM/SCA) post authorization.
  • Ensure artifacts are updated and moved through appropriate workflows, both within eMASS and with system administrators.
