Cybersecurity Engineer w/Secret Clearance
About The Position
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with a Secret Clearance. This role involves performing a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized Cybersecurity problems. Tasks include the integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements. The engineer will analyze information security requirements and apply analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of work flow, organization, and planning. Additionally, they will provide security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of relevant IT experience.
- Five (5) years of relevant Operation Technology.
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level III Baseline Certification
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner with Continuing Education (CASP+ CE)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP or Associate)
- GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Information Assurance system Architect and Engineering (IASAE Level III) (within 6 months of contract start)
- CISSP-ISSAP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Architecture Professional)
- CISSP-ISSEP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Engineering Professional)
- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
- Microsoft Certified solutions Associate or Expert.
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator.
- Microsoft Azure Security Technologies.
- Amazon Certified Security.
- Secret - IT-II (Tier 3) clearance
- U.S. Citizen
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
