Dalcom Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to support a team focused on mission-critical research, development, systems engineering, and modernization efforts for the U.S. Army. Requirements

Bachelor degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation and technical presentations.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.
Implement and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system designs and operational processes.
Support the development and execution of test plans, including the evaluation of new technologies and security features.
Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.
