About The Position

Dalcom Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to support a team focused on mission-critical research, development, systems engineering, and modernization efforts for the U.S. Army. Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation and technical presentations.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.
  • Implement and monitor security controls, policies, and procedures in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system designs and operational processes.
  • Support the development and execution of test plans, including the evaluation of new technologies and security features.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.
