About The Position

CGI is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer who will play a critical role in resolving complex information assurance challenges and integrating cutting edge electronic processes to tackle total system and technology problems inherent to IA requirements. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of integrating electronic processes and methodologies to resolve comprehensive system and technology challenges related to Information Assurance (IA) requirements. Your analytical expertise will be critical in identifying and addressing workflow, organizational, and planning issues, ensuring that systems remain secure and responsive. This position is located in our Columbus, OH office with work performed at client site in Richmond, VA. or Washington, D.C.

Requirements

Seven (7) years of relevant IT experience
DOD Top Secret Clearance
Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III (one of the following certifications)
Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS (one of the following certifications)

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized cybersecurity problems.
Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements.
Analyzes information security requirements.
Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning.
Provides security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, integration of information systems.
Assisting in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
Coordinate identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
