Cybersecurity Engineer (Active TS/SCI Required)

About The Position

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems to protect infrastructure, applications, and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to proactively identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and enforce security best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Information Security
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and encryption
Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments
Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and incident response protocols
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI)

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage security solutions for networks, applications, and cloud environments
Monitor systems for security breaches and investigate incidents, implementing remediation plans
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance measures
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
Stay updated on emerging threats, cybersecurity trends, and regulatory requirements
Provide security awareness training and guidance to team members
