About The Position

Datawiz seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in Zero Trust, RMF, and SIEM for a mid-August 2026 start. This is a local remote position in the Washington DC metropolitan area, with occasional onsite work or team meetings. The role involves enterprise cybersecurity engineering across Zero Trust, identity-centric access, least privilege, continuous monitoring, threat detection, secure configuration, hardening, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-207, cloud, network, endpoint, and identity environments. This position is on a new Task Order with client review of contingent hires. Commitment to start must be by June 30th to complete background checks.

Requirements

• NIST SP 800-53 control implementation.
• Zero Trust (SP 800-207).
• SIEM, logging, and monitoring.
• Incident response and RCA.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must successfully complete required background investigation and security training.
