Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field
US government issued security clearance is required after day 1.
U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance .

Nice To Haves

Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management framework (RMF).
Experience with ACAS (Tenable).
Experience with security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems as defined by NSA, NIST, DISA (STIGs) and USCYBERCOM.
Experience with network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Cisco Systems.
Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) as described in NIST 800-37.
Familiar with Program Protection Plan (PPP) required by DoDI 5000.2 and DoDI 5200.39.
Security related Network (e.g. Cisco) and Operating System certification or training.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain compliance security related documentation (example: System Security Plans, Cybersecurity Reports, etc.)
Define cybersecurity requirements, design, and architecture artifacts, strategy, plans, and policies.
Perform vulnerability assessments, defining, negotiating, and executing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events.
Collaborate with program and engineering disciplines and ensuring cybersecurity solution alternatives.
Execute ACAS (Tenable) scans across classified and unclassified environments; analyze findings and validated remediation in accordance with NIST RMF requirements.
Develop and maintain NIST‑aligned vulnerability management processes, including ACAS scans, findings, reporting, and POA&M integration.
Define security controls of networking devices, operating systems, and hardware and software components.
Support travel as needed.
