About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer (CTOC) to work onsite in Lorton, Virginia, supporting Cyber Security Operations development. The role focuses on threat hunt analytics, malicious detections, and workbook development. The engineer will build and configure development tools and infrastructure using continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security practices. The position also involves building and testing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and helping ensure systems are protected against security threats.

Requirements

At least 4 years of IT administration, engineering, or automation experience, including at least 3 years of cloud experience.
At least 1 year of experience with programming languages or PowerShell.
At least 1 year of experience manually or programmatically accessing REST API endpoints.
Satisfy 8570 IAT II requirements, typically through CompTIA Security+.
Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Azure experience.
Working knowledge of multiple SIEMs, including Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel/Log Analytics.
Leadership experience in relevant technical areas.
Technical certifications such as Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-600, or AZ-700.

Responsibilities

Develop and assist with Azure resource deployments using infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration as code (CaC).
Develop, deploy, and use threat hunt analytics, malicious detections, workbooks, and other incident response tools.
Assist with automated deployments of mission-critical security software and applications.
Assist with developing data ingestion and visualization solutions.
Engage with customers to gather requirements and develop solutions.
Improve enterprise processes by introducing automation and industry best practices.
Document lessons learned and best practices.
