Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of IT security experience, plus an additional two (2) years of experience in IT security, systems administration, or military service performing information technology, cybersecurity, communications, or network operations duties.
  • Must possess and maintain a current DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification or Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I certification (or successor DoD 8140 qualification requirements) prior to performance.
  • The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cybersecurity compliance with Air Force Intelligence Community (AF IC), and organizational cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidance.
  • Assist with configuration management and change control activities that impact system authorization.
  • Support implementation and administration of Xacta and Xacta.ai to improve RMF workflow efficiency, documentation quality, and authorization tracking.
  • Provide recommendations for improving authorization processes, documentation quality, and cybersecurity program effectiveness.
  • Perform other cybersecurity authorization support activities as assigned in support of the Designated Accrediting Official (DAO).
