About The Position

The Cybersecurity Associate is an entry-level, early-career role designed for individuals beginning their professional journey in cybersecurity. This position is training-focused and execution-oriented, providing hands-on exposure to security operations, assessments, and consulting activities under close supervision. The role supports internal security operations and client-facing engagements while developing foundational technical, analytical, and professional skills. This position does not carry independent decision-making authority. Work is performed under the guidance of senior consultants.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including: Networking fundamentals, Operating systems (Windows and Linux), Common attack types and defensive controls
Familiarity with security tools or concepts such as vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, IDS/IPS, or endpoint security
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science or information systems
Experience with Windows, UNIX and/or Linux operating systems.

Nice To Haves

Internship, lab, academic, or personal project experience in cybersecurity or IT
Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus) or log analysis
Basic scripting or programming familiarity (PowerShell, Python, Bash, SQL)
Entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as: CompTIA Security+, Network+, GIAC entry-level certifications
