About The Position

ASRC Federal is actively hiring a Cybersecurity Asset Management Engineer (Axonius / CAASM) in support of our Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) program based out of Quantico VA. This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite at least two (2) days a week or as needed at Quantico Marine Corps Base VA. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Axonius Engineer to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management platform. This role focuses on leveraging the full Axonius suite to provide a comprehensive and correlated asset inventory, identify security gaps, and automate security policy enforcement to protect our hybrid environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Axonius platform in an enterprise environment.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, asset management, and data correlation concepts.
  • Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI.
  • Must meet 8570 certification requirements at the time of hire.
  • IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SCCP or higher tiered 8570 certification.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of military service and/or at least five (5) years of significant, relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain the Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management platform to align with business needs and security policies.
  • Develop and optimize custom queries, dashboards, and automated enforcement actions to ensure data accuracy and policy enforcement.
  • Provide ongoing operational support, including monitoring system health, performance tuning, and managing Axonius adapters and data connections.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Axonius, providing technical support for asset discovery, data correlation, and policy enforcement issues.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of Axonius with other security tools, IT systems, and data sources like CMDBs, vulnerability scanners, and cloud platforms.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Axonius architecture, configurations, and processes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Axonius features, security trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve our security posture.
