About The Position

Peraton seeks a Cybersecurity Architect (Lead) to support the Department of War Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with defensive cyberspace operations and AI support. In this role, you will serve as the lead for the team's Analytic Support Officers, responsible for cybersecurity readiness assessments, Zero Trust architecture, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider Associate +14 or HS +16 years of experience
• Requires current CISSP, CISM, or CASP+ IA cybersecurity certification
• Expert knowledge of Zero Trust architecture
• Strong RMF and NIST framework experience
• Proficiency in security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
• Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements
• Experience leading security teams
• U.S. Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
• 12 years relevant experience
