The Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor the institution's information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, responding promptly to mitigate potential threats. This role involves conducting regular risk assessments and security audits, developing and implementing security policies, and providing cybersecurity training. The analyst will analyze security incidents, stay informed about emerging threats, and prepare reports on cybersecurity efforts. Additionally, the analyst will serve as a liaison with external agencies and collaborate with IT teams to deploy security technologies. This position also involves serving as a primary point of contact for complex cybersecurity and compliance inquiries, leading the development and maintenance of enterprise-wide security policies, conducting IT risk assessments, and validating security control implementation. The role includes directing the creation of cybersecurity training content and leading the development of departmental website content. The analyst will also provide advanced support to the GRC Team service desk, lead activities related to audits and assessments, and contribute to regulatory and compliance reports.
