About The Position

We're hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday. Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2. The hourly rate for this position is $61.86. Requirements

Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
6 years of job-related technical experience
Experience with SIEM
Experience with CrowdStrike
Experience with M365/Azure
Experience with Server Operating Systems (Windows/Linux)
Strong analytical, data gathering, and problem-solving skills with experience analyzing network attacks
Understanding of system and network security, incident management, intrusion detection, log analysis, and related technologies
Creativity to recognize and address new threats and security challenges as they arise
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

Investigate security alerts generated via various security tools in the environment
Review event logs from various types of systems to establish ground truth of an event and then triage it appropriately
Work in consoles for SIEM, EDR, Email, Networking, Cloud, etc.
Perform real-time alert monitoring and triage
