About The Position

This role is open to internal ISOutsource applicants only, and we welcome candidates from all currently established ISOutsource markets. We are excited to announce an opening for a Cybersecurity Analyst. This is a unique opportunity focused on implementing and maintaining secure computing environments. The position involves system analysis, security configuration, incident response, and compliance work—requiring specialized knowledge in cybersecurity protocols and systems architecture.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field; or 2–4 years of practical experience in systems security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Valid driver’s license with insurance.
  • Some local travel to and from clients is required.
  • Proven experience with vulnerability management, malware detection and remediation, and incident response protocols.
  • Knowledge of current cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, CIS).
  • Proven experience with networking protocols, firewall configurations, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Experience working within a team to complete complex technical projects and operate under high-pressure conditions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client environments to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in system architecture, configurations, and user access controls.
  • Implement technical safeguards, encryption protocols, and secure configurations to ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain secure computer networks and systems to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other cyber threats.
  • Manage anti-malware solutions, conduct scans, and lead remediation efforts for identified threats.
  • Configure, monitor, and improve vulnerability management and incident response processes across multiple environments.
  • Perform regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to evaluate system resilience.
  • Participate in configuration and change management processes to ensure system integrity and documentation accuracy.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing root cause analysis and recommendations to improve system defenses.
  • Work in collaboration with internal teams and client representatives to align systems security with business and technical goals.
  • Provide expert input on IT security strategies and project planning, especially in client onboarding and environment transitions.
  • Participate in SecOps on call rotation.
