About The Position

The Cybersecurity Analyst will coordinate, implement, and maintain the Information Security Program of Voyageur and will report to Manager, Information Technology.

Requirements

Mandatory to have an IT diploma or a relevant industry certification.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar role is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.
Work effectively both in an individual and team environment.
Must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit).
Provide a clear Criminal Background Check.

Nice To Haves

BSc in Computer Science or a similar discipline is preferred.
Preferred to have Security+, CYSA+, or CASP certifications.

Responsibilities

Help in coordinating and implementing security related changes to technology and procedures.
Monitor compliance with security policy.
Collect and assess threat intelligence and analytics.
Monitor antivirus and security systems.
Monitor security advisories and security information sources.
Respond to any security breach in accordance with company policy and recovery plans.
Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to help create IT solutions that support our business strategies.
Facilitate stakeholder project discussions.
Develop and monitor project plans.
Report on project status and monitor progress.
Maintain detailed hardware and software inventory information to support decision making.
Perform hardware and software audits.
Help manage the lifecycle of IT assets from their acquisition to their retirement and safe disposal.
Manage network scanning and data collection for IT assets at all network connected bases.
Build-out the configuration management database as a model of the inter-relationships within the IT infrastructure to help evaluate and mitigate risks associated with IT changes.
Work with the IT manager and the IT team to implement special projects as required.
