About The Position

The Cybersecurity Analyst will coordinate, implement, and maintain the Information Security Program of Voyageur and will report to Manager, Information Technology.

Requirements

  • Mandatory to have an IT diploma or a relevant industry certification.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Work effectively both in an individual and team environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit).
  • Provide a clear Criminal Background Check.

Nice To Haves

  • BSc in Computer Science or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • Preferred to have Security+, CYSA+, or CASP certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Help in coordinating and implementing security related changes to technology and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with security policy.
  • Collect and assess threat intelligence and analytics.
  • Monitor antivirus and security systems.
  • Monitor security advisories and security information sources.
  • Respond to any security breach in accordance with company policy and recovery plans.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to help create IT solutions that support our business strategies.
  • Facilitate stakeholder project discussions.
  • Develop and monitor project plans.
  • Report on project status and monitor progress.
  • Maintain detailed hardware and software inventory information to support decision making.
  • Perform hardware and software audits.
  • Help manage the lifecycle of IT assets from their acquisition to their retirement and safe disposal.
  • Manage network scanning and data collection for IT assets at all network connected bases.
  • Build-out the configuration management database as a model of the inter-relationships within the IT infrastructure to help evaluate and mitigate risks associated with IT changes.
  • Work with the IT manager and the IT team to implement special projects as required.
