About The Position

Wichita Tribal Enterprises, LLC, a Quivera Enterprises company, is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst. The Cybersecurity Analyst role requires a security professional with extensive knowledge of internet protocols, operating systems, cryptographic principles, and common security technologies, as well as strong analytical capabilities. The position involves identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities, understanding exploitation techniques, performing incident response activities, and using network and vulnerability‑scanning tools to isolate and remediate malicious activity. Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to clearly explain technical decisions are essential, along with the capability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Proactively identify and diagnose incidents, and collaborate and communicate with cross-technical teams for issue resolution. Candidates must also be able to manage sensitive information responsibly while prioritizing and organizing work in a fast‑paced security environment. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of internet protocols, operating systems, cryptographic principles, and common security technologies
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 2, Public Trust background investigation

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities
  • Understanding exploitation techniques
  • Performing incident response activities
  • Using network and vulnerability‑scanning tools to isolate and remediate malicious activity

  • Analyze software to discover vulnerabilities, including the ability to read and comprehend logs (extracted from GFE)
  • Develop and explain technical decisions
  • Separate facts from opinion and speculation
  • Interact effectively with vulnerability reporters, system and network administrators, vendors, experts, Internet users, sponsors, policy makers, news reporters, managers, and staff (i.e., stakeholders in the vulnerability disclosure process)
  • Recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
