This position will be remote and can be hired anywhere in the North East, near VA, or NC. The role involves actively participating in the Field Center of Excellence, positioning Optiv services and Secure Networking technology partners to deliver value to clients. The advisor will collaborate with service delivery to ensure necessary supporting domain specialty materials are available and present a consistent approach. A key aspect is working with multiple client personas to develop security strategy and define roadmaps aligned with business goals, budget, and ROI metrics. The advisor will maintain advisory relationships with key stakeholders by facilitating thought leadership, support, information, and guidance, working closely with sales partners. Strong relationships with Optiv technology partners are essential, based on client spend and Optiv focus. The role includes designing and solving complete security programs, facilitating new discussions through networking, performing requirements gathering and analysis, and coordinating technology evaluations. The advisor will interface with internal Optiv teams, particularly service delivery liaisons, to align client expectations with the Optiv solution portfolio, ensuring service delivery excellence and client satisfaction. Listening for client feedback and sharing it with internal teams for continuous improvement is also crucial. Participation in account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and the proposal process (business proposals, contracts, RFI/RFP responses) is expected. The advisor is also expected to pursue personal development by maintaining and obtaining technical capabilities, soft skills, and security-specific knowledge through formal education, certification, and other avenues.
