About The Position

This position is open to candidates that reside in our three state operating area of Idaho, Oregon or Washington. All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope. The Cybersecurity Administrator safeguards the organization's technology environment by administering security technologies, reducing cybersecurity risk, and promoting secure technology practices across the agency. Through proactive monitoring, identity management, security awareness, and data protection, this role helps protect critical systems and information while enabling employees to safely deliver services.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of related experience in cybersecurity, information security, systems administration, network administration, or a closely related information technology discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; substantial relevant experience will be considered in place of a degree.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required within six (6) months of hire. Equivalent industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications may be accepted depending on organizational requirements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity principles, identity and access management, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, security monitoring, and risk management.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 security technologies, endpoint security platforms, security monitoring tools, or comparable enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate cybersecurity risks and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced mastery of Microsoft 365, business productivity applications, cybersecurity technologies, and common enterprise technology tools.
  • Demonstrates resilience, sound judgment, and adaptability while responding to security events, managing competing priorities, and supporting organizational change.
  • Thrives in a complex environment and collaborates with cross-functional teams to strengthen cybersecurity practices and improve technology services throughout the organization.
  • Successfully completes tasks in a low to moderate noise environment.
  • Interacts with others and performs work in person and through the use of technology, with moderate periods of stationary activity and moderate periods of increased physical activity, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and operating computer equipment.
  • Moves equipment and materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Travels between worksites occasionally; valid driver's license and motor vehicle records clearance may be required depending on business needs.
  • Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other program- or state-required clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver enterprise security awareness programs, including phishing simulation campaigns, training, and communications that strengthen cybersecurity knowledge and reduce organizational risk.
  • Administer and optimize endpoint management and security technologies, ensuring secure device configuration, compliance, and access across the organization's technology environment.
  • Manage identity and access management services, including authentication, authorization, privileged access, and security policies that protect organizational systems and information.
  • Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, coordinate remediation efforts, and support compliance with applicable regulatory, legal, and organizational security requirements.
  • Administer cybersecurity operations by monitoring threats, investigating security events, coordinating incident response activities, and optimizing security monitoring technologies.
  • Develop and maintain data protection, data loss prevention, and information security controls that support the secure handling, classification, and monitoring of sensitive organizational information.
  • Partner with Enterprise Applications, IT Operations, and business leaders to integrate cybersecurity best practices into enterprise technologies and continuously strengthen the organization's security posture.
