About The Position

Support the development and execution of a DoD client's exercises, wargames, tabletop exercises (TTXs), and certification events to enable command readiness at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels for a range of internal and external participants from senior military leaders to action officers. Shape objectives, craft wargaming constructs, author scenarios, facilitate participant discussions, and author after-action reports and briefings. Advise on the application of warfighting disciplines, COA analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes or procedures to craft wargames that allow participants to test assumptions and gain stakeholder buy-in. Support exercise planning in accordance with the Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) and support exercise and wargame activities through advice on potential cyberspace threat actors and their impact on military operations and government activities, development of exercise intelligence products, and production of event artifacts. Coordinate with US Cyber Command network range and OPFOR emulators to ensure range configuration and OPFOR emulation activities are in accordance with exercise objectives. Provide leadership, coaching, and training in wargaming to junior employees.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with leading, planning, organizing, and executing wargame activities
  • Experience with intelligence analysis or operational planning, including policy review and assisting with policy development at Service Component or Combatant Command level, or the intelligence community or interagency
  • Experience with DoD Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) planning process
  • Experience with project management processes and principles
  • Experience with DoD and interagency partners
  • Experience with facilitating wargame data collection, after-action reviews, and associated analytic reporting
  • Ability to apply analysis to identifying, assessing, interpreting, and reporting potential threats
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree
