About The Position

This role focuses on configuring and maintaining servers and applications, installing and configuring software and systems, and applying operating system and application updates and patches. The position involves maintaining backups of key systems, designing and testing crucial system redundancy, and performing audits of key systems for health and security assurance. Responsibilities also include documenting deployment, maintenance, and recovery procedures, integrating strong access controls, adhering to best security practices, identifying tasks suitable for automation and creating supporting scripts, monitoring and predicting resource usage for capacity planning, and engaging in research and development to enhance system performance and capabilities. The role requires off-hour support in critical situations to maintain system operability.

Requirements

6 or more years of relevant work experience.
Working knowledge of Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and virtual machine management.
Familiar with networking concepts and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Experience configuring and managing network storage devices.
Skilled in reviewing and monitoring system logs for performance, security, and root cause analysis.
Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms.
Basic programming skills in bash, python, and PowerShell.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Team player that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
