About The Position

Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. As a Cyber Threat Analyst, this role will monitor and assess potential threats and respond to active threats on both a proactive and reactive basis to safeguard Entegris infrastructure, data, and reputation. The role will help improve the overall cyber defense posture through threat detection and response, vulnerability management, and security engineering.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of the cyber security threat landscape
• Attacker mindset to help improve the cyber defense posture
• Good communication skills
• Ability and willingness to partner with stakeholders to meet common goals
• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

Nice To Haves

• Prior Internship in this area or academic work, preferred
• Computer Science or Cyber Security, graduating in Spring 2027 or later

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess security incidents, threats, and risks
• Handle cyber incidents, document findings, and assist in remediation efforts
• Develop processes and procedures related to incident response
• Conduct research on vulnerabilities and analyze relevant threats
• Build countermeasures in response to threats
• Support vulnerability management activities
• Help implement the Cyber Security Roadmap
• Coordinate with other Security Analysts

Benefits

• Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
