Requirements

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience in cyber tool testing.
  • In-depth knowledge of C/C++, Python, Bash.
  • Experience with VMware, vSphere, ESXi, Workstation, networking protocols, and managing storage solutions.
  • Ability to build, update and interpret a database of results.
  • Ability to describe test set up and results to team members and client.
  • Ability to review log files.
  • Ability to write reports.
  • Ability to update documentation files and internal wikis/Gitlab/Jira/Confluence sites.
  • Confidence and creativity to recommend corrections, tool and test environment improvements, and innovative approaches to incorporate client feedback.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering and systems administration.
  • Experience with secure development practices.
  • Familiarity with the testing of cyber tools within classified environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Academic degree(s) in relevant fields preferred (Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics or Physics), or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience with complex cyber tools testing.
  • Prior experience with military or government cyber operations support.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct rigorous cyber tool testing to ensure the integrity and robustness of capabilities.
  • Navigate complex virtual test environments using vSphere and ESXi.
  • Analyze databases of results and review log files.
  • Update project notes, ensuring all pertinent information is accurately documented and accessible.
  • Write comprehensive reports and actively participate in meetings.
  • Clearly describe test setups and outcomes.
  • Make well-considered recommendations for tool and test environment enhancements.
  • Operate both unclassified and classified networks supporting the testing of sophisticated cyber tools.
  • Provide weekly updates during status meetings with the government client.
  • Collaborate and lead a small team.
  • Adapt to varying workloads and continuously seek ways to improve tools and environments.
  • Take on additional hours and engage with the team and clients in various settings.
