About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Cyber Test Analyst to join a team supporting the planning, integration, execution, and analysis of cybersecurity testing for complex Missile Defense Agency (MDA) IT systems. This position supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4 + years of experience in a cybersecurity-related position.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAM Level III Certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+CE, or other approved DoD 8570 baseline certification).
  • In-depth knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and MDA cybersecurity requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze problems and recommend effective solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS) to maintain RMF documentation and status.
  • Experience with security tools such as ACAS, ESS, and e-STIG.
  • Understanding of STIGs, CTOs, and IAVMs.
  • Experience with auditing, logging, authentication, and multifactor authentication methods.
  • Experience with enterprise tools, network devices, and the OSI model.
  • Experience developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and awareness programs.
  • Knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) components and system-level cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the planning, integration, execution, and analysis of cyber testing on complex MDA IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification and Authorization documentation, standard operating procedures, policies, and security instructions for both networked and stand-alone computer systems.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for multiple systems and support the implementation and maintenance of RMF requirements.
  • Support the Cybersecurity Program by implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and regulations while identifying potential cybersecurity issues.
  • Serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for assigned systems, including maintaining authorization packages, account management, security auditing, and configuration management reporting.
  • Coordinate with facility and organizational leads to resolve cybersecurity issues and work closely with asset managers.
  • Analyze cybersecurity test results, identify and isolate issues, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations.
  • Work independently and as part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of Government and contractor personnel.
  • Support the implementation and use of cybersecurity tools and technologies within the computing environment.
