About The Position

We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with interfacing and maintenance with Joint communications systems that include the simulation system computer model database development and modification, identification, and operation of software to support training events and impact our nation’s defense. In this role, you’ll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to Cyber Modeling and Simulation support to the Combined Joint Training mission. This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for modeling and simulation technical capabilities and solutions. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control. Requirements

Experience with simulation system design, functions, installation of hardware and software, operator maintenance, database development, quick fix software procedures, C4 systems support, maintenance, and system techniques and deficiency resolution procedures
Experience planning and executing security controls, analyzing assessment procedures, and identifying and using required tools
Experience interfacing with information assurance managers, including preparing and reviewing documentation such as Systems Security Plans (SSPs), risk assessment reports, implementation plans, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms)
Experience conducting Site Survey identifying critical support requirements and deficiencies at the training site
Knowledge of NIST contingency planning, POA&M management, and DoD continuous auditing, monitoring, and assurance
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoW 8140.3 IAT Level II Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience with DoD cybersecurity policies, directives, and STIGs or SRGs
Experience running scans using ACAS or eMASS
Experience assessing organizational risks and recommending mitigation strategies
