About The Position

As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. This role involves developing cloud-based solutions for national-security mission systems protection across cloud, hybrid, and cross-domain environments. You will lead the design and assessment of secure cloud, hybrid, and cross-domain architectures that protect mission-critical workloads and ensure strong confidentiality and integrity across rapidly evolving Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environments. You will recommend tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You will lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you’ll broaden your skillset in areas like advanced cloud security, adversary-focused threat analysis, cross‑domain system evaluation, and below‑the‑waterline CSP security architectures while hardening critical systems for the Intelligence Community.

  • Knowledge of threat mitigations and mitigation management, including cloud‑native and below‑the‑waterline controls.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize competing short, mid, and long‑term taskings from multiple stakeholders, and determine how best to apply expertise to mission outcomes.
  • Ability to map architecture, design, implementation, and operational details to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Ability to learn quickly and keep pace with rapid CSP changes and evolving technical documentation.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • HS diploma or GED.
