About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber and Risk Management Executive to join our mission-focused team supporting federal government clients. The ideal candidate will provide expert-level cyber risk management and security architecture, design, and implementation services while ensuring compliance with federal security requirements. The candidate must be well-versed in emerging cyber threat intelligence and emerging technical stacks, to include secure cloud infrastructure, secure AI integration, and leading high performing teams across the Federal Government landscape. As the Cyber Strategy, Risk, and Architecture Domain Lead, you will be responsible for shaping, building and maintaining a billion dollar + strategic growth pipeline across the Federal Government. This position drives market expansion, growth strategies, and provides resourcing and subject matter expertise to large-scale program delivery. Success in this position requires the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across both internal AFS client account leads and ability to build trust across client stakeholders.

Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
Minimum 15+ years of experience focused on cyber strategy, risk, and cybersecurity engineering and with providing Federal clients innovative technical solutions
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
Extensive experience developing and implementing cyber policy and developing enterprise security programs
Extensive experience with vulnerability analysis and vulnerability management programs
Extensive RMF lifecycle experience and integration with GRC systems; hands-on Security control assessment and PO&AM management and remediation experience
Ability to evaluate commercial cyber products and make recommendations
Working knowledge of Federal Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Release to Manufacturing (RTM) & channel programs (Distribution, Value Added Reseller (VARs), Cloud Service Providers, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), etc.)
Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proven track record of developing and implementing security solutions for complex environments
Experience with security frameworks including FEDRAMP, NIST, FISMA, CMMC, and FedRAMP, MITRE ATT&CK, ATLAS
Demonstrated cyber leadership capabilities to accelerate growth across the federal government
Proven results of expanding cyber leadership capabilities that have accelerated growth.
Broad personal network and relationships across the Federal ecosystem
Strong Go to Market, Capture, and Proposal support experience
Demonstrated support to Federal programs like TIC 3.0, CDM, PDNS, SCCA, CNAP
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Research latest technology and develop security point of view/best practices to be shared with Federal Clients
Design, implement, and maintain secure network and cyber architectures for federal government clients
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Present security solutions and recommendations to client stakeholders
Own the Cyber Risk, Strategy, and Architecture capability and talent strategy
Create thought leadership collateral aligned to the AFS Cyber vision and strategy
