In this role, you will: Act as subject matter expert in charge of directing task order personnel's technical efforts to analyze, assess, develop and deploy vulnerabilities and exploits for devices utilizing Apple iOS and Google Android (and variance operating systems. Accompany Government staff to meeting with external partners offering vulnerabilities and exploits to provide initial technical assessment of these items. Attend joint development meetings and workshops with cooperating intelligence services and corporate entities. The primary work location for the role will be in the Washington Metro Area during the first year, after which the position will transition to Huntsville, Alabama—providing the candidate with an exciting opportunity to experience two vibrant regions and broaden professional horizons.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or equivalent computer security field experience, demonstrated programming proficiency in security-oriented areas, in-depth knowledge of mobile and desktop operating systems, and prior experience leading development teams in a computer security-oriented environment focused on the Apple iOS, Google Android, and variant operating systems.
  • BS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security (INFOSEC), Computer Security, Information Systems, or other closely related scientific field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in organizing and coordinating the team's software development efforts within the agile development environment, in coordination with other task orders with complimentary requirements.
  • Experience in providing guidance to Software Engineers working on projects, including preliminary document approval and daily tasking.
