About The Position

Provide a full range of services, in both unclassified and classified environments, in the areas of network administration, network engineering, communications, data center operations, asset management, backup and recovery, Information Assurance and Audiovisual Services.

Requirements

  • Experience in Windows Server Operating Systems support and management services to include Server 2019, Group Policy Management, Active Directory and File Share Management.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience demonstrating and practicing knowledge, skill and ability in Information systems security with physical environment, cultural environment and the technology environment.
  • Must have DoD 8570.01 M Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent as specified in DoD 8570.01 M). IAT Level II, and DoD 8570.01 M Computing Environment Certification, (Microsoft Modern Desktop Admin Associate preferred or other current Microsoft certifications related to the field of Cyber Security).
  • Must have and maintain an active Secret security clearance (generally, U.S. citizenship required).
  • Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to identify, download, analyze, test, and implement Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and Security.
  • Skilled in updating and maintaining the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and other required security documentation.
  • Knowledgeable in conducting threats and vulnerability assessments weekly to access risks and determines effective corrective measures.
  • Able to employ physical security safeguards for IS/Networks involved in processing or storage of Government Data to prevent the unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, use, and to otherwise protect the confidentiality and ensure use conforms with DoD regulations.
  • Have a working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures that address organizational security risks and ensure strict alignment with strategic directives and compliance requirements.
  • Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents, executing containment strategies to minimize organizational impact and prevent recurrence.
  • Review Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for system components and capabilities.
  • Support and maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements.
  • Review acquisition submissions to ensure all technology, software, and hardware purchases comply with organizational cybersecurity standards.
  • Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for cybersecurity using applicable tools.
  • Provide testing and verification of software.
  • Present IA training in small to large meeting environments.
  • Provide weekly reports of requests for specialized systems and consultations of Information Technology equipment.
  • Review vulnerability scans and risk assessments via the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to provide guidance for mitigation and system hardening.
  • Review and enforce training compliance for new and existing users.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
