About The Position

We are seeking a Cyber Security Operations Analyst to join our IT Operations Information Security team, with a focus on enhancing our security posture. In this role, you'll collaborate with Security Engineers, IT teams, Developers, and various other stakeholders to create security solutions that strengthen our defense mechanisms. You'll help shape our security practices across operations, transforming vulnerabilities into fortified defenses that drive performance, transparency, and growth.

Requirements

• You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Your detail-oriented nature and proactive approach to problem-solving and solution design make you adept at working with complex security challenges, translating them into clear and actionable security insights.
• 2+ years of proven experience in a Cyber Security role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and technologies, particularly in vulnerability management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Information Security or a related field
• Experience with Cloud Security in Microsoft Azure and Google Workspace environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
• Cyber security-related certifications (e.g., GIAC)

Responsibilities

• Support with our vulnerability management program, provide reporting and assist IT owners with security weaknesses
• Own the penetration test schedule for Odevo US, co-ordinating with third parties who provide our pen tests
• Work with software developers to help ensure secure coding practices are in place
• Assist in security incidents, determine root cause, and recommend corrective actions
• Participate in the design and implementation of security solutions
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices
• Manage BAU (Business As Usual) activities, including responding to Security tickets and security queries
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the security of systems and applications
