We are seeking motivated and curious interns to join our Digital Security team for a focused internship in cybersecurity. This program provides exposure to multiple domains of information security, real-world security challenges, and collaboration with experienced professionals across Devon. Interns will learn and apply Digital Security principles and workplace practices through a combination of team and individual project assignments — analyzing problems, gathering requirements, and helping determine and implement solutions.

Requirements

Full-time student enrollment.
Pursuing a degree in information security, information technology, management information systems, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
GPA 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Digital Security team members and business stakeholders to understand security requirements, risks, and objectives.
Analyze security problems, gather requirements, and help determine and implement solutions.
Support Information Assurance activities — assessing controls, policies, and compliance.
Assist with Incident Response — monitoring, triage, investigation, and documentation of security events.
Contribute to Risk Management — identifying, assessing, and helping track and remediate risks.
Support Cloud Security efforts across Devon's cloud environments.
Assist with Threat Intelligence — researching threats, indicators, and emerging attack trends.
Participate in team meetings and cross-functional projects to gain exposure to security operations and technology strategies.
Learn and apply best practices in security operations, data protection, and governance.
Stay current with emerging security technologies and threat trends through active learning and professional development.
