About The Position

Peraton requires Endpoint Security Solutions Cyber Security Engineers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Requirements

  • Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience engineering infrastructure and endpoint management solutions in DoW or DoD environments.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and translating technical changes into ITIL workflows.
  • Experience with hybrid-cloud identity integrations and cloud-native endpoint management strategies.
  • General knowledge of applying secure baseline configurations (DISA STIGs) to enterprise operating systems and application delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and manage enterprise-scale infrastructure, endpoint management solutions, and application delivery controllers.
  • Focus on the design, automation, and lifecycle management of endpoint systems, Active Directory services, and centralized deployment platforms.
  • Responsible for ensuring system availability, performance, and seamless delivery across Department of War (DoW) networks.
  • Engineer and maintain enterprise-wide configuration management platforms for automated software distribution, operating system deployment, and endpoint lifecycle management.
  • Engineer and manage enterprise directory services, including hierarchical structure design, policy-based configuration management, and identity lifecycle orchestration.
  • Engineer enterprise configuration management platforms to ensure comprehensive device discovery, inventory tracking, and automated software patching.
  • Apply policy-based directory services to enforce continuous device compliance, assess system posture, and restrict access for non-compliant endpoints.
  • Optimize operating system baselines and deployment pipelines to ensure deep integration and functionality of advanced endpoint threat detection mechanisms.
  • Design and configure application delivery controllers and traffic orchestration platforms to map application data flows and enforce macro- and micro-segmentation boundaries.
  • Create authoritative technical documentation that explicitly maps system engineering configurations, directory services, and traffic management rules to DoD Zero Trust capability requirements.
