This role involves supporting Distributed Common Ground System-Navy (DCGS-N) by performing a full range of system testing and quality assurance tasks. The engineer will implement technical solutions for cybersecurity challenges, develop automation scripts for cyber implementation on Windows and Linux, and provide systems analysis and testing support for DCGS-N systems. This includes responding to data calls, examining upgrades, preparing test plans and reports, performing system engineering duties like hardware and software installation, and preparing travel schedules. The position also supports Operational Security Assessments (OSA), Site Assist Visits (SAV), Cyber Security Inspections (CSI), and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA). Key responsibilities include cybersecurity patching, gathering artifacts for various authorization to operate (ATO) processes, managing Ports Protocols Services Management (PPSM), and performing software installation and testing for Information Assurance Vulnerability (IAV) acceptance testing. The engineer will also participate in staff meetings, AGILE team meetings, and technical exchange meetings.
