About The Position

Paradigm Consulting Group is seeking Cyber Security Consultants to join their team during an active growth phase. This role is hybrid, serving customers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Candidates must reside in Canada to qualify. The ideal candidate will have strong cyber security experience and a skillset that aligns with the responsibilities outlined.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with Cyber Security Management tools.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Playbooks, Policies and Procedures.
  • Experience with the development, deployment, and automation of security solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of network based, system level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methods.
  • Experience extracting pertinent security data from monitoring solutions, audit logs, and reports.
  • Experience in a variety of security technology and architecture, such as MFA, SOAR, DLP, SIEM, privileged access management, network security and data security.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and Visio skills.
  • Self-motivation, capable of taking initiative to problem solve and identify solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • CEH, CISSP, CISM, GEAC and other security certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the technical deployment of customer Cyber Security Action Plans.
  • Independently performing and assisting with penetration testing assessments (networks, applications, web services, wireless networks, social engineering), red team and adversarial simulation assessments.
  • Documentation of findings and creating of reports; delivery of the information in both written and verbal formats.
  • Document and create incident response workflows, playbooks and procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership in the deployment of security automation tools (SOAR, SIEM).
  • Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise on all security technologies and keep abreast of emerging security support technologies and industry trends.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of security violations by providing post-mortem analysis to illuminate the issue, and identify causes, possible solutions, and preventative measures.
