About The Position

Integrates security practices throughout the software development lifecycle to enhance and maintain the security posture of software. Applies specific functional knowledge with working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

Experience developing software and scripts using one or more modern SW development languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C#
Experience with software testing and tools, documenting defects and findings
Knowledge of software development best practices such as IEEE and CMMC
Ability to review SW design documents and requirements specifications
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of SW Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps methodologies
Knowledge of static or dynamic SW assessment tools such as SAST, DAST, Understand, Coverity, and Klocwork
Knowledge of memory safety and memory safe languages such as Rust, Go, and Ada
Knowledge of RMF, NIST, or NIAP evaluation processes and requirements
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in STEM
8570 Level 1 security Certification
