About The Position

This role serves as a Cyber Security Architect/Security Operations Architect, with a preferred location in Houston, TX, though Plano, TX is also an option. The position involves advising cross-functional teams on technology selections to enhance cybersecurity, developing roadmaps aligned with business and architectural strategies, and creating scalable coding frameworks for public cloud environments. The architect will also be responsible for developing secure production code, reviewing code written by others, and acting as a subject matter expert and thought leader in cybersecurity. Additionally, the role contributes to the development of technical methods in cybersecurity, creates reusable software frameworks to improve team efficiency and quality, and participates in the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Advises cross-functional teams on technology selections and decisions to achieve target state cybersecurity on improvements to current cybersecurity parameters
• Develop roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities
• Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks on the public cloud for new system design patterns and process templates
• Develops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Serves as the function's go-to subject matter expert and drives thought leadership within the product line
• Contributes to the development of technical methods in cybersecurity in line with the latest product development methodologies
• Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions
• Participant in the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
