About The Position

As a Cyber Sec Archt/Engr I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions. You will work on fortifying defenses against emerging threats and assist in addressing technical challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stay informed about emerging technologies, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. As an SDLC champion, you will impact the security and resilience of Honeywell Aerospace products and services worldwide helping ensure security is integrated into product design, testing, delivery, and operations. You will work with product teams to author and maintain security documentation, manage risk, and remediate security issues. Your efforts will directly contribute to the safety and integrity of systems that power the modern world. You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. No relocation offered.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
  • Knowledge and basic skills about product security assessment, preferably aerospace products.
  • Knowledge and experience in the information security field.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute product security process activities including threat modelling, security requirements definition, cyber test planning, and cyber risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with program teams of engineers and developers in SDLC practices ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Follow Aerospace defined processes to verify correctness and completeness of required cyber certification documentation and cyber security test activities.
  • Help conduct continuous improvement activities that define, measure, visualize and improve key cyber security assurance metrics.
