About The Position

The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for strengthening the organization’s cyber defense capabilities through continuous monitoring, infrastructure and network security, and implementation of robust security controls. This role supports both proactive and reactive security operations, contributes to posture uplift initiatives, and ensures secure integration of emerging technologies including AI and DevOps environments. Please note our LA offices are yet to be finalized so the actual office location is subject to change. This role requires the successful candidate to be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance. Employment is conditional upon meeting these requirements.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and log aggregation tools.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and network security principles.
  • Experience in implementing and managing access control and IAM solutions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps environments and securing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of AI security considerations and integration practices.
  • Experience in incident response and security event monitoring.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud security tools and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and audit processes.
  • Exposure to secure coding practices and application security.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage cyber monitoring solutions across infrastructure and networks.
  • Enhance logging capabilities and aggregate logs using SIEM or equivalent platforms.
  • Continuously monitor, triage, and respond to security events and alerts.
  • Support threat detection, analysis, and escalation processes.
  • Ensure infrastructure and network security controls are implemented and maintained.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates to security configurations and policies.
  • Support vulnerability management and patching activities.
  • Contribute to security posture uplift initiatives and internal audit processes.
  • Assist in the implementation and verification of general security controls.
  • Provide input into compliance and governance activities.
  • Support the implementation and review of access control procedures.
  • Ensure identity and access management (IAM) practices are aligned with policy and best practice.
  • Assist in securing AI integrations and ensuring responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Implement security controls in DevOps pipelines and production environments.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security into workflows.
