Our work depends on a Cyber Security Analyst SME joining our team to support USPACOM J6 mission outcomes through Mission Partner Environment (MPE) engineering planning and development, modernization, secure integration, and operational collaboration across the Pacific. GDIT is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst SME to support USPACOM J6 Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning and Development activities at Camp Smith, HI, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments.
  • Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders.
  • DoW 8570/8140-aligned cybersecurity certification or comparable professional certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning and Development.
  • Translate operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions.
  • Support RMF documentation, security control validation, POA&M management, and audit readiness activities.
  • Partner with engineers and system owners to identify, communicate, and reduce cybersecurity risk.
  • Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
