About The Position

The Cyber Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst supports the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of IAM solutions, primarily SailPoint IdentityIQ and related identity security technologies. The role supports identity governance, user lifecycle management, access certification, provisioning, and compliance activities across enterprise applications and infrastructure. The analyst works with business stakeholders, application owners, security teams, and technology teams to ensure user access aligns with security policies, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. The position also provides operational support for IAM processes and contributes to automation and optimization initiatives. The role is remote-eligible in Arizona or North Carolina.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in Information Security, or high school diploma/GED/equivalent and 8 years of experience in Information Security.
Strong understanding of IAM, IGA, user lifecycle management, RBAC, and access certification processes.
Experience supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ or similar IGA platforms.
Knowledge of access provisioning, deprovisioning, role management, entitlement management, and segregation-of-duties concepts.
Familiarity with authentication, federation, MFA, and PAM technologies.
Experience with enterprise directories such as Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure Active Directory.
Infrastructure support experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Understanding of database concepts, data structures, SQL queries, and reporting.
Experience integrating applications, databases, operating systems, and cloud platforms with IAM solutions.
Experience with IAM technologies such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, CyberArk, RSA, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of process automation and workflow design.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks including SOX, PCI-DSS, NIST, and other applicable security standards.
Experience developing and maintaining IAM metrics, KPIs, KRIs, and audit reporting.
Ability to analyze access controls and evaluate compliance with established policies and standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and identity-related integrations.
2 or more years of experience supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ or Identity Security Cloud.
Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar identity platforms.
Experience supporting access certification, role mining, and identity governance programs.
Familiarity with PowerShell, BeanShell, Java, or SQL.
Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CIAM, or SailPoint certifications.

Responsibilities

Administer and support SailPoint IdentityIQ and other IAM technologies to maintain secure and efficient identity governance processes.
Support identity lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, role changes, and offboarding.
Manage access provisioning, deprovisioning, and modifications across enterprise applications and systems.
Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of IAM solutions and enhancements.
Assist with integrating applications, databases, operating systems, cloud platforms, and directories into IAM platforms.
Support access certification campaigns, user access reviews, segregation-of-duties controls, and other governance processes.
Review user roles, entitlements, and access rights for compliance with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.
Analyze and resolve IAM-related incidents, service requests, and operational issues.
Develop and maintain IAM documentation, processes, procedures, knowledge articles, and technical reports.
Partner with business stakeholders and application owners to define and maintain role models, access controls, and identity governance processes.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency through workflow enhancements and system integrations.
Monitor IAM operational metrics and report on service performance, compliance status, and risk indicators.
Support internal and external audits by providing evidence, reporting, and IAM subject matter expertise.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance security, user experience, and operational effectiveness.
