About The Position

Recruiting Associates has been retained by a top-tier, global defense and information solutions company to identify a Cyber Reverse Engineer to support a critical, intelligence community program. The Cyber Reverse Engineer (Software) will work in a fast paced rapid turnaround environment with challenging, interesting, and unique project developments. The candidate will be responsible for reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis and exploitation. The candidate must be a US Citizen and have an active Top Secret/SCI Polygraph security clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Computer or Electrical Engineering and 2-5 years
• Experience with reverse engineering
• Experience with one or more disassemblers; such as IDA Pro or OllyDbg
• Experience with C/C++
• Experience with one or more scripting languages; such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Linux scripting
• Experience with assembly language
• Experience with debugging systems
• Experience with embedded processors and real time operating systems (RTOS)
• Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI Polygraph clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experienced with reverse engineering existing embedded and non-embedded software code using Disassembler tools
• Embedded hardware and software design experience
• Experience as a security researcher
• Experience with Windows/Linux drivers
• Experience with kernel design, code injection, and malware analysis
• Experience with communications network security protocols
• System or software architecture experience
• Experience with cyber or data security
• Experience with penetration testing
• One or more of the following certifications, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)/ Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA), Advanced Certified Ethical Hacker, Cyber Security Forensic Analysis (CSFA)

Responsibilities

• Analyze binary files and reverse engineer software (including C/C++ and Assembly) with minimal product background using Disassembler tools; such as IDA Pro
• Research the risks and vulnerabilities
• Develop prototypes of the solutions
