Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing, modifying, and maintaining Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Experience working with enterprise virtualization platforms, including VMware ESXi, Proxmox, and Microsoft Hyper‑V
  • Experience with systems administration across both Linux and Windows environments, including configuration and management of Active Directory, domain controllers, exchange services, and DNS
  • Experience configuring, administering, and troubleshooting a wide range of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking devices, including deploying and managing switching and routing technologies, implementing VLANs, trunking, inter‑VLAN routing, and configuring routing protocols
  • Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Docker containers and containerized application environments
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and security information and event management (SIEM) technologies and tools such as Suricata, Zeek, Elastic, and Python-based automation
  • Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and its application to cybersecurity operations and defensive strategies
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and supporting API‑driven infrastructure, including integrating, querying, and automating systems through structured API interactions
  • Experience using modern version‑control platforms such as Git, GitLab, and GitHub, to support collaborative development, configuration management, and code lifecycle best practices
  • Knowledge of Department of War (DoW) cyberspace operations, including mission objectives, operational frameworks, and applicable defense‑sector cybersecurity practices
  • Ability to automate processes through the development, deployment, and maintenance of custom scripts, shellcode, or purpose‑built software applications to improve operational efficiency and repeatability
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • Professional Cybersecurity and IT Certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, or Security+ Certification
