Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in network operations, NOC or SOC operations, network engineering, or technical IT operations within enterprise or DoD environments
  • Experience leading around the clock NOC and SOC teams, including escalation management, incident response, and operational coordination during critical outages
  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity-related issues
  • Experience with IP routing concepts and protocols, including BGP route propagation, route installation, and next-hop reachability
  • Experience with Layer 2 networking concepts, including VLANs, trunking, switch port configuration, and network segmentation
  • Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, ACLs, ports, and protocol filtering
  • Experience using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute, tracert, interface monitoring, and log analysis tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot network outages by isolating issues across physical connectivity, interface status, routing, switching, and firewall configurations
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Experience with Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI for operational and performance visualization
  • Experience developing project artifacts, such as project plans, milestone charts, and operational roadmaps
  • Experience with security operations, including detection, analysis, and mitigation aligned with threat intelligence
  • Experience in developing, training, and mentoring Tier II and III engineers for technical growth and readiness
  • Experience with Zero Trust security principles
  • Ability to support cross-functional and executive interactions
  • Possession of excellent leadership and communication skills
