About The Position

As a cyber strategic planning and policy development specialist on our team, you’ll oversee staff working on the assessment of the current Army enterprise network cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks. You’ll maintain and assist with creating cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines addressing risk management, incident response, data protection, and access control, compliant with program requirements and mission objectives. You'll also develop and update cybersecurity strategies and initiatives and align to business priorities, mission objectives, and emerging threat landscapes, as well as integrate risk-based decision-making into policy and strategic planning processes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, risk management, cyber operations, governance, or compliance
  • Experience assisting with developing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, strategies, and governance frameworks
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, policy development, and strategic planning principles
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity laws, regulations, standards, and frameworks, including NIST, RMF, FISMA, DoD policies, and industry best practices
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Certification such as Security+, SecurityX, CISSP, CEH, or GCTI Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading cybersecurity projects, task teams, or strategic initiatives
  • Experience advising senior leadership on cybersecurity risks, compliance requirements, and strategic initiatives
  • Experience coordinating deliverables, schedules, stakeholder engagement, and reporting activities
  • Ability to provide technical and programmatic leadership to teams
  • Master's degree
  • Advanced Cybersecurity or Project Management Certification such as CISSP, CISM, ISSAP, ISSM, or PMP Certification
