About The Position

ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC). The JCDC is CISA’s flagship initiative for uniting government, industry, and to proactively defend against cyber threats. Our ECS team is at the center of providing support to JCDC’s critical mission as they continue to plan, share, and respond to cyber threats in real time to support the greater cyber community. The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will support the JCDC Liaison Office to advance cyber defense collaboration across our diverse internal stakeholders like CISA Vulnerability Management (VM) and Threat Hunt (TH), as well as external stakeholders, including the intelligence community. This individual will work as part of a team to analyze, align, and implement engagement solutions to achieve customer needs. This role blends technical cybersecurity program support with project management and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (EOD).
  • Active TS security clearance and SCI eligible.
  • Experience working in a SCIF.
  • On-site in a classified setting 5 days per week in Arlington, VA.
  • 5+ years’ experience in threat analysis, cybersecurity, incident response, or similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the intelligence community.
  • Working knowledge of current cyber threats/exploits, attack methodology, and detection techniques using a wide variety of security products.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical cybersecurity topics and effectively communicate or present information to various groups of stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and/or communications.
  • Experienced in delivering executive level briefings.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in collaborative, multi-stakeholder, and matrixed environments.
  • Skilled at working in a highly collaborative, classified environment where accuracy, clarity, and coordination are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze cyber threat intelligence and related reporting to assess relevance, credibility, and potential operational impact.
  • Provide contextual insights that support cyber coordination activities.
  • Support the information sharing, collaboration, and development of recommendations to assist stakeholders with solutions for active and ongoing cyber vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis, translation, and synthesis to inform project decision-points, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Participate in operational duties, coordination activities and briefings as required including preparing action-orientated meeting materials, cyber advisories, and executive level briefings.
  • Perform project management tasks, including developing requirements and artifacts (e.g., workflows, use cases), scheduling, maintaining action items, and updating documentation.
  • Identify gaps/risks/dependencies with current processes, communication methods, and documentation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder interactions and engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate and align related workstreams.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends to improve coordination.
