About The Position

Peraton seeks a Cyber Operations Data Steward to support DCDC/USCYBERCOM with Caspian and Joint Cyber Runtime Stack-Data (JCRS-D) integration efforts and ensure full DAO compliance across specific data management functions. This role involves performing data preparation, transformation, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and interoperability. The Data Steward will conduct exploratory and diagnostic analyses to reveal trends, correlations, and anomalies relevant to cyber defense operations. Additionally, they will develop and maintain autonomous and interactive visualizations that enable commanders, analysts, and operators to understand risk, readiness, and mission impact. A key responsibility is establishing governance frameworks to align platform usage with organizational policies and ensure all datasets and tools comply with cybersecurity standards and legal regulations.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associate +10 years or HS +12 years of experience
Experience with data quality tools and methods
Knowledge of data profiling and validation
SQL and data analysis skills
Understanding of metadata management
Attention to detail
U.S. Citizenship required
DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

Certified Data Steward (CDS) or other data quality certification
Familiarity with Data Stewardship Body of Knowledge (DSBOK)
8 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related field
